What this service is

Mr Artin is a free AI assistant focused on programming and circuit-design questions. By using mrartin.com you agree to these terms.

You agree to NOT

  • Use Mr Artin to plan illegal activity.
  • Hammer the API with automated scripts -- automated abuse leads to permanent account closure.
  • Try to extract trained data, jailbreak prompts, or bypass content rules.
  • Re-publish AI answers as your own original work without attribution.

Honesty about the AI

  • Mr Artin can be wrong. Always double-check critical facts (medical, legal, safety, electrical code) with a qualified human.
  • Code Mr Artin writes is offered "as is" - test it before deploying.
  • Circuit designs are starting points, not finished engineering documents.

Limitation of liability

We provide Mr Artin free of charge. We are not liable for any damages, losses, or downstream consequences from using its output. Use it at your own risk.

Account termination

We may suspend or delete an account if it is being used to violate these terms. You may close your account at any time via the contact form.

Terms for the Elder Section

These are the things Mr Artin does and does not do to keep every older adult safe and private. You and your family may read this page at any time.

Dr. Damaris is a private confidante

Dr. Damaris is a warm psychology companion who asks gentle, indirect questions. Her notes are private and are kept encrypted. They are not shown to your family, not in any family panel, and not in any digest. The only exception is a serious safety signal (such as talk of self-harm, abuse, or a severe crisis): in that case Mr Artin will alert your listed family contacts so someone who loves you can help.

We watch for scams in messages and voice

To protect you from fraud, Mr Artin automatically scans the words in chats and in voice transcripts for the signs of a scam -- requests for money, gift cards, crypto, bank details, your phone number, address, or someone pretending to be a relative. This watching is done by Mr Artin only; we do not sell or share what is found.

What happens to someone who scams

A first scam attempt pauses and suspends that account for 24 hours while we review it. A repeat offense is a permanent ban. Asking for gift cards or cryptocurrency is an instant, permanent ban with no warning -- these are the favorite tools of scammers. This is written here so it is clear to everyone in advance.

A memorial is created only when confirmed

We never assume someone has passed away. A memorial page is created only after a family member confirms it (or, when there is no family on file, after several friends on the platform confirm independently). If it cannot be confirmed, no memorial is made; the membership simply goes quiet.

Who controls the account

If the older adult signed up on their own and pays with their own card, they control the account -- family cannot override it, lock features, or read private messages. If a family member signed the elder up and pays, that family member has the family controls. Lucid older adults keep their full digital independence.

How long we keep your data

By default we keep chat logs and voice transcripts for 180 days, then delete them. The account owner (or family, when they own the account) can shorten this. Dr. Damaris notes are kept encrypted for the life of the account and are deleted when the account is closed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time through the contact page.

Two ways to pay

You can pay in two ways, whichever you prefer: a subscription through Google Play, or a direct credit-card payment to Mr Artin. Both are offered in parallel. If you pay through Google Play, refunds and billing disputes are handled by Google under their rules. If you pay Mr Artin directly, refunds and disputes are handled by Mr Artin support.

One membership is for one person

There is no family package. One membership is one person: $9.99 per month per senior. A family that sponsors two seniors pays for two memberships. The first 30 days are a free trial with no card required; after 30 days the account converts to paid or pauses.
