Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole is a wide, beautiful valley tucked between tall mountain ranges in western Wyoming. At its heart is the fun town of Jackson, full of shops, restaurants, and a famous square with arches made of elk antlers.
It is loved as the gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone and as one of the best places to ski in America. The cowboy spirit, the wildlife, and the mountain views make it feel like a real Western adventure.
The antler arches
The town square has four huge arches built from thousands of elk antlers that the animals drop each year. They are one of the most photographed spots in all of Wyoming.
Skiing and snow
In winter, deep powdery snow makes Jackson Hole one of the top ski spots in the country. Sleigh rides through the nearby elk refuge are a magical way to see winter wildlife.
Cowboy fun
In summer the town hosts a lively rodeo, wagon rides, and cowboys strolling the wooden sidewalks. Families can pan for gold, ride horses, and float the river all in one trip.
