Grand Teton National Park
Grand Teton National Park protects a row of sharp, snowy mountains that rise straight up from a flat valley. Below the peaks are shining lakes, winding rivers, and wide meadows full of flowers.

The mountains
The Teton range shoots straight up more than a mile above the valley floor with no foothills in the way. The tallest peak, Grand Teton, is a giant that climbers travel far to reach.
Lakes and rivers
Jenny Lake and Jackson Lake sparkle at the foot of the mountains and are perfect for boating and picnics. The Snake River curls through the valley and is fun to float on a gentle raft.
Activities
Visitors hike gentle nature trails, ride bikes on smooth paths, and watch for eagles overhead. In winter the snow is deep enough for skiing and cozy sleigh rides.
