Milwaukee County Zoo
The Milwaukee County Zoo is a large, leafy zoo home to more than two thousand animals from around the world. It has spacious habitats, a train ride, and shady walking paths.
It is loved for its playful sea lions, giant apes, and a cozy barn full of baby farm animals. Families spend the whole day meeting elephants, big cats, penguins, and giraffes up close.
Animals from Everywhere
The zoo cares for lions, elephants, polar bears, gorillas, and hundreds of other creatures. Each habitat is built to feel like the animal's natural home.
Rides and Trains
A miniature train chugs around the grounds and a sky glider carries visitors above the treetops. These rides make exploring the big zoo extra fun.
Baby Animals
The family farm area lets kids see goats, cows, and other gentle animals up close. In spring there are often new babies to meet.
