Milwaukee Art Museum
The Milwaukee Art Museum sits right on the shore of Lake Michigan and holds thousands of works of art. Its most famous part is a white building with wings that open and close like a giant bird.
People come from all over to watch the museum's movable sunscreen, called the Burke Brise Soleil, spread its wings twice a day. Inside, kids and grown-ups explore colorful paintings, sculptures, and light-filled halls.
The Moving Wings
