Babcock State Park
Babcock State Park is home to the Glade Creek Grist Mill, one of the most photographed buildings in all of America. The working wooden mill sits beside a rushing creek and a small waterfall.
Visitors love the postcard-perfect mill, especially when the fall leaves turn brilliant colors. The park also offers hiking, fishing, boating on a quiet lake, and cozy cabins in the woods.
The Famous Mill
The Glade Creek Grist Mill still grinds corn into meal, just like old mills did long ago. Its wooden wheel and the little waterfall beside it make one of the prettiest scenes in the state.
Autumn Colors
In October the whole park bursts into red, orange, and gold, drawing photographers from far away. The colorful leaves reflected in the creek make magical pictures.
