Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie Falls is a powerful waterfall that drops 268 feet, taller than Niagara Falls. It is only a short drive from Seattle, with easy viewpoints and a park at the top.

The mist rising off the crashing water often makes rainbows on sunny days. A viewing platform right at the edge lets families feel the spray and hear the mighty roar.

A Tall Waterfall

The water plunges 268 feet into a pool below, which is higher than Niagara Falls. It is one of the most visited natural spots in all of Washington.

Rainbows in the Mist

When sunlight hits the cloud of spray, bright rainbows appear over the falls. Mornings and sunny afternoons are the best times to catch one.

Easy to Visit

A paved path leads to viewpoints just steps from the parking lot, great for little legs and strollers. A trail also winds down to the river at the bottom.
