Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum
Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant is a floating museum built around the huge aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. Visitors can walk the flight deck, sit in real cockpits, and explore a submarine.
It is famous as one of the biggest naval museums in the country, with real Navy ships and airplanes. Kids love climbing through the mighty carrier and imagining life as a sailor at sea.
