Rhode Island State House
The Rhode Island State House in Providence is the grand marble building where the state government works. It has one of the largest self-supporting marble domes in the world.

History
The State House was finished in 1904 and built from thousands of tons of white marble. It holds a royal charter from 1663 that started Rhode Island.
