Easton's Beach (First Beach)
Easton's Beach, also called First Beach, is a wide sandy beach in Newport along the Atlantic Ocean. It has gentle waves, a boardwalk, and an old-fashioned carousel.
It is a favorite family beach because of the warm shallow water and fun boardwalk. Kids love the carousel, the snack bars, and building sandcastles all day.

Activities
You can swim, surf small waves, and ride the vintage carousel by the sand. There is also a snack bar and an aquarium touch tank to explore.

Weather
Summer days are warm and sunny, perfect for swimming from June to September. The ocean water is coolest early in the season and warms up by August.

Scenery
The beach curves along the coast with the Cliff Walk starting at one end. At sunset the sky and water glow with soft orange and pink colors.
