A little history
One of the 13 original colonies, founded by William Penn, Pennsylvania became the 2nd state in 1787. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were both written in Philadelphia.
Fun fact
Philadelphia was the first capital of the United States, and it is the home of the famous Philly cheesesteak sandwich.
