Mount Hood
Mount Hood is Oregon's tallest mountain, a snow-capped volcano standing over 11,000 feet high. Its pointy white peak can be seen from far away, even from the city of Portland.
It is loved as a year-round playground where people ski, snowboard, and hike, and it is one of the few places you can ski even in summer. The historic Timberline Lodge on its slopes is a beautiful landmark.

Timberline Lodge
This grand wooden lodge was built long ago by skilled workers and is full of cozy fireplaces and hand-carved details. It sits high on the mountain with amazing views.
Summer Wildflowers
When the snow melts, the meadows around the mountain burst with colorful wildflowers. Families hike easy trails to enjoy the blooms and spot deer and marmots.
