American Museum of Natural History
The American Museum of Natural History is a huge museum in New York City filled with dinosaurs, animals, gems, and space exhibits. It has giant halls where you can explore the whole natural world.
It is famous for its towering dinosaur skeletons and a life-size model of a blue whale hanging from the ceiling. The movie Night at the Museum was based on this very place.
Dinosaurs
The museum has enormous real dinosaur bones, including a towering Tyrannosaurus rex that kids love to gaze up at. The fossils are millions of years old and truly gigantic.
The Blue Whale
A life-size model of a blue whale, the largest animal ever, floats above one of the halls. It is so big that visitors lie on the floor beneath it to feel tiny.
Space and Stars
The planetarium is like a giant dome theater that shows the stars, planets, and galaxies overhead. You can learn how the universe works while leaning back and looking up.
