The Sandia Peak Tramway is a cable car that carries you up a tall mountain next to Albuquerque. It is one of the longest tramways in the world.
Riders love floating high above the rocky cliffs and pine forests in a glass cabin. From the top you can see almost the whole state on a clear day.
The cabin lifts you high over deep canyons and tall rock walls. You feel like you are flying without a plane.
From the mountain top you can see the city, the desert, and faraway mountains. Sunsets from up here paint the sky orange and purple.
The top is much cooler than the hot city below, so bring a jacket. In winter there is even snow for skiing and playing.
