Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument

Little Bighorn Battlefield is a quiet, grassy hill where a famous battle took place in 1876. Today it is a place to remember the soldiers and the Native American nations who fought there.

It is famous for the story of General Custer and the brave Lakota and Cheyenne warriors. Visitors walk among stone markers and learn history from both sides of the story.
