Montana is nicknamed Big Sky Country because of its wide open views. Many dinosaur fossils, including some of the first Tyrannosaurus rex bones, were found here.
A little history
Home to the Blackfeet, Crow, and other Native nations, Montana grew during gold and copper mining booms and became the 41st state in 1889.

Montana has more cattle than people, and the state is one of the best places in the world to dig up dinosaur fossils.
