Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
Pictured Rocks is a line of colorful sandstone cliffs along Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula. The rock walls are painted with natural streaks of red, orange, and green from minerals in the water.
People love taking boat tours to see the glowing cliffs, sea caves, and waterfalls that drop straight into the lake. Kayakers paddle right up close to the towering rainbow-colored walls.
