Mackinac Bridge
The Mackinac Bridge is a giant suspension bridge that connects Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas. It stretches five miles across the water where Lake Michigan meets Lake Huron.
It is famous as one of the longest suspension bridges in the world, and locals fondly call it the Mighty Mac. Once a year people are allowed to walk across it in a big holiday event.
