Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a huge, colorful garden by the water in Boothbay. It is filled with flowers, ponds, forest paths, and a special garden made just for children.
It is famous for its magical Children's Garden and for giant troll sculptures hidden along the woodland trails. Families come from far away to explore, splash in fountains, and search for the friendly wooden trolls.
Trolls
Five enormous trolls made of sticks and wood hide in the forest, and following the trail to find them all feels like a treasure hunt.
Children's Garden
The Children's Garden has a story cottage, a bubbling brook, and vegetable patches where kids can touch, smell, and play.
Flowers
In warm months the gardens burst with roses, lilies, and thousands of blooms in every color you can imagine.
