Avery Island Jungle Gardens
Avery Island is a lush green island where the famous Tabasco hot sauce is made, surrounded by beautiful Jungle Gardens. The 170-acre garden is filled with flowers, bamboo, and a special home for birds.
It is famous for Bird City, where thousands of snowy egrets nest each spring in a peaceful marsh. Families enjoy the pretty gardens, the sauce factory tour, and spotting deer and gators.
