Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center
The Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson is a huge space museum packed with real rockets, spacecraft, and space history. It holds one of the largest collections of space artifacts in the world.
It is famous for displaying real flown spacecraft, including a genuine Apollo command module and the restored Apollo 13 capsule. Kids love the planetarium shows, the towering rockets, and the live rocket-fuel demonstrations.

History
