Living History Farms
Living History Farms in Urbandale is an outdoor museum where costumed workers show what farm and town life was like in the past. Visitors walk between a 1700s Native American village, old farms, and a 1875 town with real animals and gardens.
It is famous and loved because you can travel through 300 years of history by walking from farm to farm and meeting people dressed in old-time clothes. Kids get to see horses plow fields, help with chores, and taste life the way families lived long ago.
Farm Animals
