Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge
Bombay Hook is a huge coastal marsh where thousands of birds rest and feed. A driving loop lets families watch wildlife from the comfort of their car.

In fall and winter huge flocks of snow geese and ducks cover the ponds. Bring binoculars to spot herons, eagles, and shorebirds along the water.
Driving loop
A gravel road winds twelve miles through the marsh so you can watch animals from your car. Wooden towers along the way give a higher view over the wetlands.
Best time
Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to see the most animals. Cooler months bring the biggest crowds of migrating birds.
