Air Mobility Command Museum

Air Mobility Command Museum

This museum in Dover is filled with giant real airplanes you can walk up to and explore. It sits next to a busy Air Force base where huge cargo jets take off.

It is famous for its collection of transport and cargo planes, some as big as a house. Best of all, admission is free and kids can climb aboard many aircraft.

You can walk beneath towering cargo jets and step inside many of them. Guides share stories about the pilots and the missions these planes flew.

Cockpits

Kids can sit in cockpits, hold the controls, and pretend to fly. Volunteers, many of them former pilots, love answering questions.
