A little history
Connecticut was one of the original 13 colonies and wrote the Fundamental Orders in 1639, an early set of rules that some call America's first constitution.

The first American cookbook, the first hamburger, and the Frisbee all have roots in Connecticut, and the first nuclear submarine was built here.
