Mount Magazine State Park

Mount Magazine State Park sits on the highest point in all of Arkansas. From its tall cliffs you can see for miles across forests, farmland, and a shimmering lake far below.

People love it for breathtaking views, hang gliding off the cliffs, and spotting colorful butterflies. It is a cool, breezy escape even when the lowlands are hot.

Cool Mountain Air

Because it is so high up, the mountain stays cooler and breezier than the valleys below. It is a comfy place to hike and camp on a hot day.
