Hot Springs National Park
Hot Springs National Park protects natural hot springs that bubble up warm water from deep in the ground. It sits right beside the town of Hot Springs, with grand old bathhouses lined up along a street called Bathhouse Row.
People have come here for over a hundred years to soak in the healing warm waters and stroll the beautiful mountain trails. It is one of the oldest protected places in America and mixes a fun town with peaceful nature.
The Warm Springs
The water comes out of the ground very warm, about 143 degrees Fahrenheit, after traveling deep underground for a very long time. You can even fill a bottle at special public fountains.
Things To Do
Families can take a warm bath in a historic bathhouse, hike wooded trails, or climb the Hot Springs Mountain Tower for a big view. Downtown has candy shops and museums too.

The park is full of green forests with oak and pine trees, and you might spot deer, songbirds, and busy squirrels. Spring and fall bring cool weather and pretty leaf colors.
