Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend is a spot near Page where the Colorado River makes a giant U-shaped curve around a tall rock. From high above, the deep blue-green water wraps around the red stone like a horseshoe.
It is one of the most famous viewpoints in the world and a favorite for photographers. A short walk leads to the overlook, where the view of the winding river takes everyone's breath away.

A short easy trail leads from the parking lot to the overlook, perfect for families. Adventurous visitors can also take a boat or kayak trip on the river far below the cliffs.
Safety
The cliffs have no railings in many places, so families should hold hands and stay back from the edge. Bring plenty of water and a hat, because the desert sun can be very strong.
