Meet the Sea Animals
At the SeaLife Center you can watch puffins dive underwater, see a giant Pacific octopus, and touch starfish in tide pools. It is also a hospital that rescues sick and orphaned sea animals.
Harbor and Otters
Seward's busy harbor is a great place to spot sea otters floating on their backs and cracking open shells. Fishing boats come and go while eagles watch from the pilings above.
Mountain Race
Every Fourth of July, brave runners race straight up and down steep Mount Marathon that towers over town. Families cheer and celebrate in this fun tradition that is over a hundred years old.
