U.S. Space & Rocket Center
The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville is a giant museum all about rockets, astronauts, and outer space. It is home to a towering Saturn V moon rocket that you can walk right underneath.
It is world famous as the home of Space Camp, where kids train like real astronauts. People love the hands-on rides, the spinning astronaut chairs, and the true story of how Huntsville helped send people to the Moon.
Rockets
You can see real rockets and a full-size Saturn V lying on its side, longer than a football field. Looking up at the engines makes you feel very small.
Space Camp
Kids get to try astronaut training, like a chair that floats you around and simulators that feel like flying. It is fun and teaches teamwork.
