Wilmington is the biggest city in Delaware and its main center for business and banking. It sits where the Christina and Brandywine rivers meet, so boats and trade have always been a big part of its story.
You can ride along the pretty Riverfront, visit the Delaware Children's Museum, or explore the huge gardens and art at the Delaware Art Museum. In spring the Brandywine Park bursts with flowers.

The Wilmington Riverfront is a fun walkway along the water with shops, restaurants, a science center, and a minor league baseball park where families cheer for the Blue Rocks.

Brandywine Park has a small zoo, shady trails, and a river where you can spot ducks and turtles. It is a favorite spot for picnics and bike rides.
