Waukegan

Waukegan is a city on the shore of Lake Michigan in the far north of Illinois, close to Wisconsin. It has a busy harbor with boats and a long sandy beach.

You can build sandcastles at the lakefront beach, watch sailboats in the harbor, or learn about the famous writer Ray Bradbury who grew up here.
