Waipahu is a lively town on Oahu that grew up around old sugar plantations. Today it is full of families and rich in the history of the workers who came from many countries.

You can step back in time at Hawaii's Plantation Village, an outdoor museum with old homes to explore. There are also great local restaurants and a big shopping center for a fun day out.
