Shreveport is a big city in the northwest corner of Louisiana, right by the Red River. It grew as a trading town and today is known for its riverfront and festivals.
You can stroll along the bright Shreveport riverfront, explore hands-on science at Sci-Port, and enjoy fun fairs and holiday lights. The city also hosts a famous state fair each fall.

The Red River runs right through Shreveport, and the riverfront has walkways, lights, and boats. It is a nice place to walk and watch the water at sunset.
