Kodiak is a town on a big green island in the ocean, best known for the enormous Kodiak brown bears that live there and nowhere else. It is a busy fishing port where boats bring in tons of seafood.
You can look for the giant bears in the wildlife refuge, explore tide pools full of sea stars, and watch fishing boats unload at the docks. The island stays green and misty almost all year.
