Knoxville

Knoxville sits in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and is home to the University of Tennessee. It is a friendly city known for outdoor fun and orange-colored game days.

You can ride the elevator up the Sunsphere, a giant golden ball built for a World's Fair, explore World's Fair Park, and start a trip into the nearby Smoky Mountains.

The Sunsphere

The shiny gold Sunsphere tower is Knoxville's most famous landmark, built for the 1982 World's Fair. From the top you can see the whole city and the mountains.
