Kaneohe is a green, mountain-backed town on the windward side of Oahu, resting beside a big beautiful bay. Tall cliffs called the Koolau Range rise right behind it.
You can take a boat to a sandbar in the middle of Kaneohe Bay, walk through the peaceful Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden, and see waterfalls tumble down the green cliffs after rain.
