Kahului is the main town and gateway of Maui, home to the island's biggest airport and harbor. It is where most visitors first arrive before exploring the rest of the island.
You can watch birds at the Kanaha Pond, visit the Maui Ocean Center aquarium nearby, and shop at markets full of local crafts. It is a great starting point for road trips around Maui.
