Green River sits along its namesake river in southwest Wyoming, framed by tall colorful cliffs. It was the starting point for famous river explorer John Wesley Powell.
You can boat and fish on Flaming Gorge Reservoir, look for fossil fish at the museum, and hike beneath big landmarks like Castle Rock and the Palisades.
