Great Falls

About 60,000 people.

Great Falls

Great Falls is named for a series of powerful waterfalls on the Missouri River. It was an important stop for the explorers Lewis and Clark long ago.

Walk or bike the long River's Edge Trail, see cowboy paintings at the C.M. Russell Museum, and watch water rush over the giant falls.

The Waterfalls

Several roaring falls gave the city its name. Overlooks let you feel the mist and hear the thunder of the water.

River's Edge Trail

This paved path follows the river for miles, passing parks, sculptures, and playgrounds. It is great for bikes, scooters, and strollers.
