Every fall the whole city fills with art for a big contest called ArtPrize. Kids love the Frederik Meijer Gardens with its sculptures and butterflies, and the John Ball Zoo.

Gardens and Animals
The Meijer Gardens has a warm room full of tropical butterflies and giant outdoor sculptures you can walk around. The nearby zoo lets you see lions, tigers, and playful penguins.
