East Honolulu is a calm, sunny area on the eastern side of Oahu, just past the big city. It is known for pretty neighborhoods tucked between the mountains and the sea.
You can snorkel with colorful fish at Hanauma Bay, watch water shoot up at the Halona Blowhole, and hike short trails with ocean views. The tide pools are fun for spotting little sea creatures.
