Duluth

Duluth sits on the shore of Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world. It is a busy port city where huge ships carry cargo across the Great Lakes.

You can watch giant ships pass under the Aerial Lift Bridge, walk the Lakewalk trail by the water, and ride a scenic train through the north woods. The Great Lakes Aquarium is full of fish to see!

Lake Superior

Lake Superior is so big it looks like an ocean, with cold blue water and rocky beaches. Duluth's harbor lets giant ships come and go all year long.

Aerial Lift Bridge

The famous Aerial Lift Bridge rises straight up to let tall ships pass underneath. Crowds gather to watch and wave as the big boats sail into the harbor.
