Bismarck

About 75,000 people.

Bismarck is the capital city of North Dakota, where the state's leaders make important decisions. Sitting along the Missouri River, it mixes history, government, and beautiful riverside views.

You can climb the tall State Capitol tower for a big view, meet animals at the Dakota Zoo, and explore forts and pioneer villages that tell stories from long ago.
