Billings is the biggest city in Montana and sits along the Yellowstone River. It grew up as a railroad and trading town and is still the busy heart of the state's business and shopping.
You can hike the tall sandstone cliffs called the Rimrocks, visit the ZooMontana to meet bears and otters, and explore fun science displays downtown.

The longest free-flowing river in the country runs right past town. Families fish, float, and picnic along its green banks.
