Brownsberg Nature Park
This is a mountain park covered in rainforest that looks out over a huge shining lake. It is one of the easiest places to reach real jungle from the capital.
People love it for its waterfalls, forest trails, and the amazing view over the Brokopondo Lake. Families and hikers enjoy hearing birds and howler monkeys all around.

Cool forest streams tumble down into clear pools where you can splash and rest. The Leo Falls and Irene Falls are favorites.

From the top of the mountain you can see the giant blue lake dotted with tiny green islands. It is a perfect spot for photos.

Wildlife
Loud howler monkeys, playful spider monkeys, and colorful toucans live in the trees. Early morning is the best time to spot them.
