The Caminito del Rey is a narrow walkway pinned to the side of a tall cliff above a deep river gorge near Malaga. Visitors walk along wooden boards high in the air with the canyon walls rising all around them.
People love it for the thrilling views straight down to the sparkling river and the feeling of walking through the sky. It was once known as one of the most exciting walkways in the world.
The wooden path hangs high on the rock wall with a low fence to keep everyone safe. Below, the river winds through a canyon so narrow you can almost touch both sides.
Near the end there is a swaying glass-and-rope bridge stretched high across the gorge. Crossing it lets brave visitors look straight down to the river far below.
Big birds like eagles and vultures nest in the cliffs and soar on the warm air currents. Walkers often watch them glide right past the rocky walls.
