Monday Falls (Saltos del Monday)
Monday Falls is a wide, thundering waterfall near Ciudad del Este where the Monday River drops about 40 meters into a misty gorge. Wooden walkways let you stand right beside the roaring curtain of water.
It is Paraguay's most spectacular waterfall and a favorite day trip near the famous triple border. Visitors love the rainbows that appear in the spray and the rush of cool mist on their faces.
