Coiba National Park
Coiba is a big wild island and national park in the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by coral reefs. It is one of the best places in Panama to see sea life up close.
People love it for its clear water full of sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, and colorful fish. Because it stayed wild for so long, its forests and reefs are some of the healthiest anywhere.
Under the Sea
The reefs around Coiba are full of colorful fish, gentle sea turtles, and playful dolphins. Snorkelers float above a world that looks like a living rainbow.

For many years almost no one lived here, so the jungle grew thick and full of animals. Now it is a protected park where nature is the boss.
Birds and Monkeys
The island forest is home to bright scarlet macaws and howler monkeys that call loudly through the trees. Boat visitors often hear them before they see them.
