Masaya Volcano National Park

Masaya is one of the few volcanoes in the world where you can drive right up to the edge and peek at a glowing lake of lava. It sits inside a national park full of trails and lookout points.

The volcano is famous for its bubbling red crater that glows at night like a campfire deep in the earth. Visitors are amazed to stand so close to a real, living volcano safely from the rim.
